My Low Relief Sculpture was designed to be a part of my sustained investigation for my AP 2-D Studio Design class. It started as a cardboard cut into monstrous shapes and glued together. I then layered on drywall mud and painted on top of that with acrylic. Behind the monsters is supposed to be the sky, so, I mixed the gel medium and blue acrylic than painted that on. To add a withered effect I painted a dirty green on top of that. The resulting piece is an old, painted slab of "history" depicting ancient and powerful monsters.
